MBA Scholarships at the University of Nicosia
THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF CYPRUS WILL AWARD UP TO 5 SCHOLARSHIPS TO EXCELLENT STUDENTS FROM INDONESIA FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF NICOSIA MBA PROGRAMME.
The University of Nicosia is the largest private university in Cyprus with an established reputation for quality education and has recently received the “Committed to Excellence” award from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM).
The MBA programme is one of the best offered in Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean region and is locally accredited by CEEA, the Cyprus Ministry of Education and KYSATS. The Business School is a member of AACSB – International Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

International Summer School Croatia, Vukovar, 13.7-2.8.2008
PushLAB and Global Pact invite you to participate in the fifth Summer school on activism for universtiy students from all parts of Europe and the USA. The summer school consists of a three-week long, intense and fully experimental international training course. By simulating the work of a real NGO you will learn all about developing your ideas to improve your community.
The Croatian town of Vukovar, which still has to deal with consequences of the war in the 1990s will serve as learning ground for putting your ideas into practice and will have a genuine impact for the better for the lives of the Vukovar people. You
will learn to work in a multicultural environment, consisting of a group of about 40 students. There will be American students of all backgrounds as well as students from all over Europe.
Together you will try to find solutions to actual problems in Vukovar, you will
hang out, go out and learn about one another’s differences and similarities. The working language is English.
The training will take place in Vukovar from July 13 to September 2, 2008. Participants will be accommodated in hotel Dunav in the town centre.
The application deadline is June 6. Scholarships are available.

International Summer Academy, (un)limited Identities, Belgrade,
THE INTERNATIONAL SUMMER ACADEMY (UN)LIMITED IDENTITIES
Belgrade, 25th - 31st August 2008
This summer, between 25th and 31st of August 2008 in Belgrade will be held the International Summer Academy (UN)Limited Identities as a central activity within the project SERBIA MOBILE _ Between Two Stands. The Academy is organized by KULTURKLAMMER - center for cultural interactions with support of the Ministry for Diaspora of the Republic of Serbia and ERSTE Bank Serbia.
The Academy will gather young professionals in the fields of human sciences, marketing and economy from the country and abroad, who had/have the opportunity to find out the way in which Serbia is perceived from the outside and who can contribute to Serbia’s affirmation at international level, as well as to harmonization of its contemporary identity with raising European identity.

42 YÜKSƏK İNKİŞAFLI ÖLKƏ ARASINDA 3 KEÇMİŞ SSRİ RESPUBLİKASI DA VAR
BMT Ticarət və İnkişaf Konfransının (UNCTAD) hesabatına görə, inkişaf etmiş və etməkdə olan ölkələrdə adambaşına düşən gəlirlər arasında fərq son yeddi ildə 20 dəfədən 16-dəfəyə düşüb.
Hazırda inkişaf etmiş ölkələr siyahısına 42 ölkə, o cümlədən üç keçmiş SSRİ respublikası - Litva, Latviya və Estoniya daxildir. BMT inkişaf etməkdə olan ölkələr siyahısına 218 ölkəni aid edib. Rusiya və başqa MDB ölkələri UNCTAD-ın hesabatında keçid iqtisadiyyatlı ölkələr kimi yer alıb. Keçmiş Yuqoslaviya, Albaniya, Bolqarıstan və Rumıniya ilə birgə bu siyahıya 19 ölkənin adı salınıb.
